The pellet press is the main tool for a successful pellet production business. We are proud to be the only manufacturer of the original, high-quality, reliable pellet press OGM-1.5A for more than a decade.
The possibilities for processing raw materials into pellets today are almost limitless. Granulated products not only take up less space, are more convenient to transport, but also retain all the useful properties of the raw material. The press produced by Radviliškis mašinų gamykla is of high quality, constantly improved to meet the needs of today's world market.
Many innovations have been introduced since the first grass meal units designed and manufactured by us reached the market in 1975. The equipment has been improved to be able to granulate a variety of raw materials. Changes have been made in response to customer suggestions and wishes: holes have been introduced to prevent the raw material from evacuating, automatic lubrication of responsible working parts has been introduced, gearbox housing, main and slat shafts have been improved, and the large gear has been reinforced by 20%. An advanced air filtration system has been used since 2007. All components are only from manufacturers recognized and valued by the European Union for their quality and durability.

Principle of operation: The
raw material ready for granulation enters the hopper via a screw conveyor, from where it travels evenly to the mixer via the metering unit.
In the mixer, the raw material is moistened with water or steam with vigorous stirring until the moisture required for granulation is reached.
The mass moistened from the mixer enters the press.
The mass between the rotating die and the pressing rollers is strongly pressed through the holes in the die. In this way, granules are obtained. The pellets pushed out of the hole are taken to a stationary knife where they are broken. The length of the pellet can be adjusted by turning the knife. The broken pellets fall down and fall out of the press through the hood gutter.
The formed hot and unstable pellets enter the refrigerator through the will.
During refrigeration, the removal of unnecessary moisture results in granules of the desired strength.
The chilled pellets are sorted in a sorter: high-quality - they flow freely through the unloading opening, and unformed ones are sucked into a cyclone, from where they travel to the press for additional pressing.

The electrical control equipment has the possibility to install automatic load regulation, electronic work process analyzer, which allows to reduce work irregularities, increase productivity, improve work process control. The process analyzer can be connected to a computer to monitor the required parameters during the workflow.
The dust generated is sucked into the filter unit and can be re-inserted.
The automatic roller lubrication station prevents rapid wear.
The equipment has safety pins against overheating.
Manufactured in accordance with EU requirements, has the CE mark.
The annular matrix does not waste energy.
By changing the matrices, granules of the required length and diameter can be obtained.
