In March 2015, roundwood prices in Estonia have registered some disparate developments compared to last year. Large sawlog prices (pine, spruce and birch) show a slight downward trend. For small diameter sawlog(under 18 cm diameter) a price increase of more than 2 percent for pine was registered and a -8 percent decrease for spruce.
Among pulpwood assortments (pine and spruce) a price crash of 23 percent can be noticed in comparison to last year's same month. On contrast, birch pulpwood price inched up slightly.
