Canadian lumber production fell 5.5% from June to 5 250.8 thousand cubic metres of lumber in July. Production was 1.0% higher than in July 2017.

Canadian sawmills shipped 5 546.0 thousand cubic metres of lumber in July, down 3.2% from June but 1.6% higher compared with July 2017.
