However, statistics of average prices insufficiently reflect last year’s market trend. According to estimates of market participants the higher export values result from the shift in quality as well as from the substitution of unplaned goods with planed ones. The trend on almost all export markets changed its direction from goods class B / C to high-value beech lumber. Even the price drops for planed beech lumber have led to higher purchases.
