Unilin concludes license agreements with Chinese laminate flooring manufactures
On the 6th of September 2006, Flooring Industries Ltd, the intellectual property holding of the Unilin group, announces that it has reached a settlement and a license agreement with Jiangsu Kelida Decoration Material Co. Ltd. (“KLD”) for the manufacture and worldwide sales of laminate flooring products with Unilin’s patented glueless technology. Sequoia Floorings, with its headquarters in Laval, Québec, Canada, will be the exclusive North-America distributor of the licensed products manufactured by KLD.
Also on September 6th 2006, Changsha Lingge Wood and Flooring Industries have entered into a license agreement which will allow Changsha Lingge Wood to use Flooring Industries’ patented glueless technology for mechanically coupling the laminate floor panels together. Changsha Lingge Wood’s exclusive distributor for the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Belgium and The Netherlands is Canada based Trinity Summit International Inc.
