Siempelkamp Energy Systems GmbH, Hannover, started its business activities on October 1st, with 65 employees taken over from Metso Panelboard GmbH. The entire know-how of the energy systems and continuous presses designed and built by Metso (Küsters) will thus pass into the ownership of Siempelkamp.
At the same time Siempelkamp Energy Systems GmbH will provide spare parts, service and upgrades/modifications (e.g. press extensions) for these continuous presses and energy systems. That specifically applies to all products so far sold under the brand names of Küsters, Contipress, Bison, and Kvaerner Panel Systems.
The energy technology systems for wood-processing lines expand Siempelkamp's range of machinery and plants for the wood-based panel industry.
